I had a great stay at Hotel Monte-Carlo. The location was fantastic, close to metro stations and local cafes, which made getting around Paris easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, though the room was quite small. The breakfast was decent but I found better options nearby. Overall, it was a charming little place for my short trip.

Rooms

The room was clean and well-decorated, though not huge. Pretty much what I expected for a two-star hotel. I appreciated the comfort and the cleanliness.
Service

The staff were very helpful with tips about local dining and transportation. Everyone spoke English, which made communicating easy.
Location

The hotel is in a vibrant area with plenty of stores and restaurants. It's an easy walk to major attractions, and the metro is just around the corner.
Dining

The breakfast was a self-service buffet for 9€, which was decent but nothing special. I found much better pastries at local cafes for less money.
Facilities

The lift was a nice feature, especially for the upper floors. The hotel is non-smoking, which was a plus for me.

5.8/10

My stay at Hotel Monte-Carlo was pleasant, primarily due to its central location and friendly staff, led by the helpful Thomas. However, the room I had was quite small, and the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable during the hot weather. All in all, I found it a great budget option for a short stay in Paris.

Rooms
6.0
My room was simply decorated but very small, with two twin beds pushed together. The bathroom was clean, but a shower curtain would have been helpful to prevent water from spilling onto the floor.
Service
9.0
The service was excellent; Thomas at the front desk provided great sightseeing tips and was very accommodating.
Location

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the Le Peletier Metro station and close to shopping areas like Rue Lafayette. It made exploring Paris very easy.
Dining

While breakfast was available, I found it overpriced for what was offered. There are plenty of delicious cafes nearby for better breakfast options.
Facilities

The hotel lacks air conditioning, which was an issue in the heat, but it does provide free Wi-Fi and a comfortable atmosphere.

My stay at Hotel Monte-Carlo was good, with a welcoming staff and great location near the metro and major attractions. While the rooms were compact, they were impeccably clean and well-maintained. The only downside was some minor street noise, but the double-paned windows mitigated this fairly well. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cozy base in Paris! 😊

Rooms
7.0
The room was small but modernly designed and impeccably clean, with good bathroom facilities. My room also had large windows that opened to a lovely Parisian view, which added to the experience. The only downside was some noise from the street and the inner kitchen courtyard at times.
Service
9.0
The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. They spoke English well, which made my stay easier, especially since my French is quite limited. Quick assistance was always available when needed, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly located just a minute from the nearest metro station and within walking distance to major sights like the Opera House and Sacré-Cœur. I always felt safe walking around the area, which had a nice mix of restaurants and shops.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast options available for a reasonable price of 7 to 9 Euros. There was a good variety of items, including pastries and fresh fruits. However, I did find nearby cafes that offered breakfast for less, so I had a couple of meals outside the hotel as well.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel provided consistent hot water and had a well-maintained lift, which was a plus. Although there was no on-site parking, the owner helped me find a secure location nearby. The wireless internet worked well, which was great during my stay.

6.6/10

I recently stayed at Hotel Monte-Carlo for a few nights, and I have to say, the location was absolutely perfect—I was just steps away from several metro lines, making it super easy to explore Paris. The room was pretty cozy but had its quirks, like a strange layout and no air conditioning, which made it a bit stuffy in the heat. Overall, while I enjoyed my time there, I wasn't entirely blown away and would probably seek out a different place next time.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and surprisingly spacious by European standards, despite a somewhat strange layout and lack of air conditioning. The cozy bathroom was a nice touch, but I did wish for a bit more space for my luggage.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly enough, but I found them to be a bit too by-the-book, which took away from the personal touch I'd have liked. They were helpful when I needed something, but there was room for improvement in their warmth and responsiveness.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location in the 9th Arrondissement was a major plus, being so close to different metro lines and within walking distance of key spots like Gare du Nord and the Paris Opera House. The area felt lively and safe, perfect for wandering around.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a bit of a letdown for the price; it was pretty basic and didn't quite justify the cost. I'd recommend skipping it and grabbing bites from nearby bakeries instead, which were fantastic!
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were what you'd expect from a basic hotel. WiFi was spotty during my stay, which added to the frustration, especially since I had some work I needed to finish up. Still, the rooms and common areas were generally well kept.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Monte-Carlo. the staff was friendly and the décor was bright and inviting. While the walls were quite thin, which did lead to some noise, the shower pressure was excellent and the location was ideal for exploring Paris. Overall, it felt like an authentic Parisian experience without the common budget hotel drawbacks.

Rooms
7.0
My room was cozy and beautifully decorated, definitely larger than typical Parisian budget rooms. I felt comfortable throughout my stay.
Service

The service was generally friendly. though a few staff members were a bit more reserved. Overall, they were helpful and attentive, which I appreciated.
Location

The location was fantastic. very close to several metro stations and within walking distance to many attractions like the Louvre and Montmartre.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast options nearby. especially the coffee and fresh pastries, which were some of the best I've tasted in a while.
Facilities

The facilities were decent. the hotel was clean, but the shower setup was slightly awkward due to a short wall which made it necessary to be careful while using it.
